COVID-19 UPDATE

The change in the allowance for mourners to attend a funeral after the 17th May 2021 is minimal, as local churches and crematoria are still restricted by the size of the building and, therefore, numbers for attending will only change by a fraction. Venues are also gradually opening to accept a funeral reception/wake, but the size of the venue will limit how many people can be seated safely whilst eating and drinking.

During these challenging times, to ensure the protection of yourselves and our team, funeral arrangements are by appointment only, and done by telephone, or a Zoom meeting.

For family and friends paying their respects in our Chapel of Rest, an appointment must be made before visiting. A maximum of two people are allowed inside the Chapel.

Face coverings must be worn on our premises, in our limousines and at the funeral service, unless you are exempt.

Call to action

We are in constant contact with our professional association, local councils, and our local BID, to stay updated with the changing circumstances of the pandemic.

We are taking all measures to reduce the spread of the virus. Plus, to protect our funeral service employees who are key workers, it is essential that they remain healthy to continue supporting your family and others in these times.

People who are supposed to be self-isolating or are showing signs of being COVID-19 Positive, such as a persistent cough, a high temperature or has lost their sense of taste or smell, MUST NOT attend our premises or the funeral.
